Description: Student Council gives students an opportunity to make positive contributions to GHS and the community. We volunteer services, fund raise for various charities, organize and run dances (such as Homecoming) and other student activities and communicate student concerns to the administrators. We meet each Wednesday in the LMC after school.

Prerequisite: Fill out an application and interview with Student Council Executive Board.

An Activity Code must be signed by the student and a parent/guardian. The 2-part form is available in the high school office.

Commitment: Yearlong. Wednesday meetings run about 15 minutes; however, when we organize and run student activities and dances a much larger time commitment is expected (time depends on activity).
