Yearbook
Advisor:  Tracy Brogelman

Description: In Writing for Publication class, held every seventh hour, students in grades 10 through 12 come together to create the Grafton High School Yearbook. The class size is restricted to 22 students, so availability is limited. Under the direction of an adviser and student editors, the annual staff composes a yearbook of 176 pages. Students are allowed to choose which pages they would like to do, what the theme is, what cover, pictures, and what color schemes will be used. Students harness their writing skills by creatively writing copy and titles for each page, while using grammatical accuracy. Students also learn about the process of publication.

Prerequisite: The applicant must be of at least sophomore standing, with approved application, and an English teacher's recommendation.

Commitment: Entire school year. (this is not a semester class!) Work - One hour every school day.
