Business Law

Goals:

Business Law is a one-semester course designed to develop a knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities, rules, and regulations within our legal system. Students develop a new respect for the dignity of the individual, the rationale of law, and the necessity for law and order in a civilized society. The course will also help the student to explore the opportunities available in the legal profession.

Content:

The content of the course deals with an understanding of the law as an individual, the nature and kinds of law that will affect you throughout your life, and what crimes and torts are. You will also review court procedures and how law relates to you as a minor, an adult, and a consumer in every day life.

Prerequisite:

Sophomore-Senior standing.
