OTHER SUMMER PROGRAMS
FBI Youth Academy-The Milwaukee Division of the FBI is hosting a week-long youth academy called TEAM (Teen Experience and Mentoring) at the FBI field office in St Francis June 21-25. It is a day program where students come to the FBI office from 8-5 Mon- Friday and learn about different aspects of law enforcement from local to state and federal. We partner with Milw PD, US Marshals Service, WI State Patrol and Milw COSO to present a team approach to a case. We present them with a case scenario (involving a local kidnapping) and they will investigate in small groups. Students will process a crime scene, do a car stop, process the vehicle, read reports from other agencies and develop the case throughout the week. We will provide breakfast and lunch and snacks throughout the day. Students will be paired with an FBI agent who will then be a "mentor" in the sense that they can call them, email them to talk to them at anytime...even after the program ends.
