Mr. Ritger

The 2017-2018 school year marks my 27th year of teaching at Grafton High School!  Also, this will be the seventeenth year serving as the Math department head. The courses I am teaching this year include: AP Statistics, Advanced Algebra. and Algebra 1.

My path to Grafton started by graduating from Slinger High School in 1987. From there, I attended UW-Whitewater, earning a Bachelor's degree in Math Education in 1991. During my first several years at GHS, I was encouraged to continue my education. I earned a Master's degree in Educational Administration in 1996 from Concordia University-Wisconsin. Since then, I have continued to earn over 45 graduate credits in various disciplines.

The start of the 2017 school year is special to the Ritger family. My wife and I recently celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary. My older daughter will be a senior in high school (graduation already!), while my younger daughter will be a junior ( A.C.T. this year!). Also, the youngest child is going to be on the move thru the middle school working on his new trumpet.  3 kids, with lots of games, practices and activities to keep the whole family very busy.
