Local scholarships are those sponsored by local businesses, clubs, and concerned individuals. The sponsoring party determines the basic criteria for consideration and selects the winner through committee action. All winners will be notified and will receive recognition at the annual Scholarship Presentation Ceremony on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:00 p.m. In most cases the scholarship payment will come after completing one semester at a technical college or university.
